The American Scrap Coalition does not collect personally identifiable information about visitors except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals.

Currently, the site collects personal information (e.g., name, company, address, phone and e-mail addresses) from potential Coalition members who voluntarily submit a feedback/inquiry form or send electronic mail to the Coalition’s legal counsel. Personal information collected through this web site may be saved in the Coalition’s contact database where it may be combined with pre-existing contact information in the database.

Personal information is used by the Coalition to send individuals requested information, event notices and announcements. Individuals may be removed from the Coalition’s e-mail or mail list at any time by sending an e-mail message to tbrightbill@wrf.com. The e-mail subject line should read “Remove” and the message should include individual’s name, and e-mail address.

Nonpersonally Identifiable Information

In addition, the Coalition may obtain second-level domain information and, in some instances, IP addresses, regarding visitors to the site, but does not collect or maintain personally identifiable information.
